Data Architect (remote contract - only USA applicants)
We’re looking for a seasoned Data Architect with deep expertise in big data environments to design, optimize, and lead data architecture across our media and advertising platforms

We’re looking for a seasoned Data Architect with deep expertise in big data environments to design, optimize, and lead data architecture across our media and advertising platforms. You’ll play a critical role in enabling scalable, high-performance data solutions that support advanced targeting, campaign analytics, and real-time audience insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and refine conceptual and logical data models aligned with media and advertising use cases (e.g., impression tracking, audience segmentation, campaign performance).
Analyze system requirements and implement end-to-end data architecture strategies to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Own the development and maintenance of efficient, reliable data pipelines, powering real-time and batch analytics.
Continuously improve system performance through rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and integration of new technologies.
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and product teams to support dynamic reporting, ad personalization, and audience intelligence initiatives.
Required Experience:
10+ years in data architecture and modeling, with a strong foundation in relational and distributed systems.
3+ years in big data environments (100TB+), ideally in media, advertising, or marketing tech.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) to support stakeholder-facing reporting.
Required Expertise:
1- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD).
2- Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - especially BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Composer.
3- Strong hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
4- Solid understanding of data lake and warehouse principles with a focus on high-throughput, large-scale environments.
5- Expertise in data mining and segmentation techniques, especially in programmatic advertising or cross-channel analytics.
6- Proven ability to build and maintain data pipelines handling complex ad tech and media datasets.
