🚀 Our client, an innovative and fast-growing company in the luxury consumer goods sector, is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager – Luxury Goods to join their team on-site in New York or Los Angeles.
This role is perfect for someone who brings a deep understanding of the luxury fashion, beauty, or personal care markets and thrives on building high-value partnerships. If you have a strong network in the luxury space and a proven record of driving commercial growth, we’d love to meet you.
👨💼 About your functions and responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities including joint ventures, geographic growth, and brand partnerships.
- Create and implement BD strategies to grow revenue and market share across luxury fashion, beauty, and personal care segments.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with luxury brands, retailers, beauty influencers, and resellers.
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships to drive long-term mutual value and market presence.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to identify new business and demographic opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings for high-net-worth individuals trend-driven markets.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and regional expansions.
- Set clear KPIs for business development activities and provide regular reports on trends, growth, and risks.
- Ensure strong partner engagement in marketing campaigns and product launches to maximize visibility and sales.
🎓 What do you need to be successful?
- 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships, ideally within luxury fashion, beauty, or personal care.
- Strong track record in negotiating and securing complex deals with premium brands and high-profile clients.
- In-depth understanding of luxury consumer behavior, trend dynamics, and influencer ecosystems.
- Excellent networking and communication skills, with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficient in CRM platforms, sales tools, and analytics to track BD performance.
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members is a plus.
- Full-time availability to work on-site in New York or Los Angeles.
