🇮🇩 Work for an internationally active company providing data and voice communications via satellite and data networks from teleports across Europe. You will have the opportunity to further design and implement a state-of-the-art network infrastructure for the operations in Poland to guarantee stable and scalable communication to customers worldwide. These include TV broadcasters, global industrial and service companies, as well as governments from Europe and overseas.
📨 Responsibilities
🔶 Design, plan, and implement the network infrastructure that powers the companies’ operations.
🔶 Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the overall network infrastructure and individual components.
🔶 Perform hands-on activities to ensure the continuous operation of the network infrastructure (e.g. hardware installation, cabling).
🔶 Identify network and IT security risks within the network infrastructure and proactively implement solutions to avert these risks.
🔶 Conduct technical analyses of complex network disruptions and be responsible for their timely resolution.
🔶 Serve as a technical contact for internal teams during network disruptions.
🔶 Create and maintain technical documentation of the network infrastructure.
👤 Your profile
🔷 You possess a vocational training certification or a university degree in an IT-related field, complemented by several years of professional experience as a Network Administrator within critical infrastructure environments.
🔷 Extensive expertise in managing and configuring CISCO switches, routers, and firewall technologies, including Sonicwall and Fortigate.
🔷 In-depth knowledge of designing, implementing, and operating (SD-)WAN and LAN infrastructures.
🔷 Proficient in using technical documentation tools such as Pathfinder and Microsoft Visio.
🔷 Strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
🔷 Willingness to participate in on-call service to ensure continuous network stability.
🔷 Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
